SHRP · Weft feeder

Equipment model · SHRP
The SHRP is a weft feeder that Sanhe builds for rapier looms. It runs on a permanent-magnet motor, checks the yarn with a metal sensor system and delivers yarn at up to 1600 m/min. Yarn separation is set between 0 and 2.2 mm without tools, and a four-step knob on the outside chooses the motor's top speed. It is 330 mm long, 151 mm wide and 190 mm high, with a weight of 5.2 kg. For a price, send your loom model, a sample of the yarn you weave with its count and unit, and the feeding fault you want to cure.

SHRP figures from the model page
Every value below is taken from Sanhe's SHRP page. The yarn range is printed twice, once in Nm and once in dtex, and the endpoints of the two do not match as conversions. Both are shown here as printed.

| Item | Sanhe's figure | Ask for |
|---|---|---|
| Top yarn delivery | 1600 m/min | A working speed for your own yarn and pattern. |
| Yarn range in Nm | 120 Nm–2 Nm | The fibres and constructions this range was written for. |
| Yarn range in dtex | 20 dtex–3500 dtex | One corrected range, since these endpoints differ from the Nm figures. |
| Yarn separation | 0–2.2 mm | The setting Sanhe would use for your yarn. |
| Size, L × W × H | 330 × 151 × 190 mm | Room for the bracket, yarn path and service access on your loom. |
| Weight | 5.2 kg | The mounting and support it needs. |
Start from your yarn
A count figure alone tells Sanhe little about how a yarn unwinds. Send the count with its unit, the fibre, the construction, the twist direction where it matters and the package form. Add a short note on how the yarn misbehaves today, for example whether it is textured, delicate or uneven.
Because the Nm and dtex endpoints disagree, ask Sanhe to say in writing whether your yarn falls inside the SHRP range and whether any limits apply to it. The page speaks broadly of many fibres, and your own yarn is the one that counts.
If the demonstration runs on a different yarn or package from yours, write that into the trial notes. A result on someone else's material will not tell you how your own will feed. [1]
Tensioner, brush and speed steps
- Coaxial output tensioner for medium and low speed
- Brush position and separation adjust without tools
- Four-step speed knob on the outside
Sanhe fits the SHRP with a coaxial output tensioner that compensates tension at medium and low speed. The brush position can be moved, separation is changed without tools, and the outside knob gives four speed steps. Sanhe does not print a speed for each step, so ask what top speed each position gives.
Request the setup instructions for the version you will receive and a list of the tensioner and brush parts in the box. Sanhe also describes the unit as low in energy use and wear. Note the final settings and the maintenance routine during the trial, since no consumption or service-life figures are given. [1]
Fitting the SHRP to your loom
Sanhe files the SHRP under its rapier and projectile feeders, and the model text talks about rapier looms. Give Sanhe your loom make and model and the insertion setup, and ask it to confirm the mounting it supports. The category shows where the unit belongs in the range. Fit on your own frame is a separate question.
Sanhe's SH2000 page lists separate voltages and stop-signal entries for SH2000A, SH2000B, FAC-1 and SH2000C3. Those belong to another family. For the SHRP, ask for its own supply voltage, connector layout and stop-signal wiring.
Tell Sanhe which feeder sits on the loom now, where the new one would mount and how it links to the loom control. Settle any bracket, adapter, cable or controller change, and who fits it, before you treat the SHRP as a drop-in swap. [1] [2]
Trial on your own pattern
Agree the fabric faults you will accept before the run starts, and set the feeder up with Sanhe's own instructions. The steps below keep the trial repeatable. [1]
Label the yarn
Write down the material, count and unit, construction and the package you feed from.
Describe the set-up
Note the loom, the feeder revision, the interface parts and the yarn path Sanhe approves.
Record the settings
Log the speed step, the separation and the tensioner and brush positions actually used.
Weave the real pattern
Include the changes in weft demand and the normal stops and restarts of the job.
Check yarn and cloth
Count feeding stops, yarn breaks or damage and the agreed fabric faults.
File the result
Keep yarn, settings, run time and the accepted fabric together as an acceptance record, so a second set-up can be judged the same way.
What to put in the order
List the number of feeders, the SHRP revision, the tensioner and brush parts, brackets, cables and any controller work as separate lines. Ask for the electrical sheet, the setup manual, wear-part numbers and the cleaning and inspection routine.
Agree acceptance terms, training, warranty cover and a current lead time. Neither the top feed rate nor the certificates shown on Sanhe's website tell you what the loom will produce or whether the unit meets rules in your country, so ask about both.
Sanhe may suggest a different feeder family for your yarn or loom. In that case compare each configuration on its own data sheet, keeping one model's size, interface and trial result together. [1] [2]

Sources & limitations
The SHRP figures come from Sanhe's model page and the SH2000 data from its family page; nobody from the site has run this feeder. Ask Sanhe for written answers on these points before you sign: the yarn range that applies to your yarn, the speed of each knob step, the SHRP electrical interface and mounting for your loom, the parts in the scope, and the warranty and service terms. The 1600 m/min figure is yarn delivery, so loom output and energy use need their own figures from Sanhe.
