Equipment model · DM-1201
The Baoshijie DM-1201 is a single-head embroidery machine with 12 needles, sold with XINMORE branding. Its published embroidery area is 1,200 × 500 mm, and the control panel is listed as an A15 screen. Baoshijie calls it high speed without quoting a stitch rate. The machine sits in the garment and cap range, so tell the seller whether you will sew flat panels, finished garments or caps, and send artwork and a sample item with your price request.

What the DM-1201 listing tells you
Baoshijie gives four details for the DM-1201: one head, 12 needles, a 1,200 × 500 mm embroidery area and an A15 screen. Twelve needles on one head still means a single piece under the machine at a time. The listing has no figure for finished pieces per hour.
The 1,200 × 500 mm figure is the stitching field. Floor footprint and crate size are separate numbers, and a smaller hoop or a cap holder gives a smaller field. The photo shows a wide flat table, yet the entry has no packing list, so ask what ships with the machine. How embroidery area relates to hoops and head layout is covered in a separate specification guide.
For the controller, the listing names only the A15 screen. Before you plan production files, get the controller and software version, the embroidery file formats it accepts, how designs are loaded and whether any software licence costs extra. [1]
Holding the item: flat panels, garments and caps
- When quotes for other machines arrive, compare the configuration item for item: frames, cap parts and software, not just the model name.
Baoshijie files the DM-1201 under garment and cap machines, but the listing names no cap driver or garment frame, and the full flat field may not carry over to a finished garment. Send the seller the actual item and the spot where the design goes, and ask them to choose the holder and state its usable field. [1] [2]

| Job | What has to fit | Ask the seller for |
|---|---|---|
| Wide flat panel | The full design, panel support and the frame offered | A drawing or run showing X/Y travel on that frame with your design inside it |
| Finished garment | The design position and room around seams or narrow openings | A sew-out on your real garment, with the name and field of the garment frame |
| Cap | Cap shape, the cap holder or drive, and logo placement | The exact cap kit, its usable field and changeover steps, quoted apart from the flat-panel area |
| Several job types | Frame swaps, thread changes and loading routine | Frames needed per job, marked standard or optional, and a timed changeover |
Taking one design from file to approved sample
Pick a design you are allowed to reproduce and sew it on the real item or matching fabric layers. Keep file, materials and holder the same across samples so a good result can be repeated later. This is the moment to arrange a machine trial with your own material, run by the seller on your terms. [1]
Decide who digitises
Send artwork or a stitch file with its size and colour order. Agree who converts or edits the file, what that costs and who keeps the final version.
Write down the setup
Note the fabric layers, holder, backing, thread and needles the seller proposes, and have the seller operate the machine.
Inspect the detail
Check outlines, small lettering, coverage, puckering and the reverse side against criteria fixed before sewing. A general promise of precision is no substitute.
Log stops and repeats
Note thread breaks and other stops, what cleared them and how a second and third sample compare. Ask how the machine recovers after a break rather than guessing from the screen name.
Sign off the sample
Store the approved piece, final file and setup notes together, and check that the quote covers the same frames and training.
Planning output without a stitch-rate figure
The DM-1201 entry says high speed but gives no stitches per minute, test file or finished-piece count. Base capacity on what you measure in the trial, because there is no published figure to work from.
During the trial, time loading, sewing, colour changes, trims, operator stops and unloading separately. Sewing time and full cycle time are different figures. Count good pieces, rejects and rework over the batch.
Long repeat runs and short personalised orders load the same machine very differently. Try a realistic mix before deciding one head is enough. If a multi-head model is on the table, get its own specification and test its per-head field and output instead of multiplying the DM-1201 result, or browse other embroidery machines by process. [1] [2]
Turning the sample into a complete offer
Ask for the DM-1201 to be named on the quote with its controller and software version, then a line for each frame, table, cap or garment holder, tool, starter spare and outside software. Mark each line as included, optional or buyer-supplied, and check the list against the fixtures used in your sample.
Request a dimensioned layout, power requirements, machine and shipping weight, handling instructions and service access for the exact package. Agree who installs the machine, who handles commissioning and what operator training covers file transfer, frame changes and daily care.
Price, delivery time, warranty and service response belong in the written offer, together with manuals, spare-part supply and any retest arrangement. Hold back the order until each technical question has a written answer. [1]
