CT embroidery series

Equipment series · CT embroidery series
The Futong CT embroidery series covers cap, garment and flat embroidery machines with one head or several. The single-head table in the catalogue lists three models, FT-CT1201H, FT-CT1201HXL and FT-CT1201HXXL, with embroidery areas of 400 × 600, 500 × 800 and 500 × 1200 mm and 12 or 15 needles. On the CT web page, buyers can choose 9, 12 or 15 needles, a head count built to order, and sequin, bead, cording, boring, chenille and laser devices as options. Garment speed is given as up to 1200 rpm. Cap speed reads 850, 650 or 600 rpm depending on the language line. For a quote you can act on, name the model, head count and devices, and send a sample cap or garment with your artwork.

Single-head CT models in the catalogue
- Gross weight rises from 250 kg to 350 kg across the three models, which affects floor loading and how the machine is moved into place.
Page 2 of the Futong catalogue lists three single-head CT machines, each built with 12 or 15 needles. The XL and XXL versions give more flat area for large back designs, jacket panels and long pieces. The footprint grows with them, from 900 × 800 mm on the FT-CT1201H to 2000 × 1500 mm on the FT-CT1201HXXL. Ask which way the embroidery field runs on the frame of the machine you are offered, because a 500 × 1200 mm field suits some designs only in one direction. [1]

| FT-CT1201H | 400 × 600 | 250 | 900 × 800 × 1600 |
| FT-CT1201HXL | 500 × 800 | 300 | 1700 × 1500 × 1600 |

Multi-head CT machines and head layout
The next catalogue spread covers the FT-CT1501H, FT-CT1502H, FT-CT1503H and FT-CT1504H. Each row has its own flat embroidery area, plus package size and gross weight for shipping. Package size helps with freight and container space. Floor planning needs the installed machine dimensions, so request both figures for the model on your quote.
The web page offers 9, 12 or 15 needles and a head count made to order. Ask each offer to include one technical sheet with the head spacing, usable area per head, the fixture supplied and the final layout. With that sheet in hand you can compare quotes configuration by configuration and see what the model name leaves out.
Output from extra heads depends on the job you run. A batch of one logo on every head behaves differently from mixed designs, and loading takes longer as heads are added. Watch your own job pattern on the offered controller, including how single heads are switched off and how the machine picks up after a stop. [1] [2]
Cap field and cap speed
The catalogue speaks of a 270-degree cap system, while a comparison table puts the cap field at 270 × 70 mm. One figure is an angle around the crown and the other is a flat working area. Ask for a drawing of the usable cap field with the cap frame you will buy.
The cap speed changes with the language. The Chinese feature line gives 850 rpm, the English lines give 650 and 600 rpm, and garment speed is listed at up to 1200 rpm. Plan cap output on the figure Futong confirms in writing for your configuration, and watch the machine sew your cap at that speed.
Describe your caps in the enquiry: crown build, seams and where the logo sits. At the trial, check registration across the seam, how near the brim the design can run and where the frame stops. A flat fabric sample tells you little about cap work. [1]
Decorative devices, combination machines and frames
The CT page offers sequin, bead, cording, boring, chenille and laser devices as options. The catalogue also shows two multifunction machines, FT-CT1201+1MJ and FT-CT1201+1PD. Count on a device only when the offer lists it by name for your machine.
For each device, get the compatible model, the area it can reach, the consumables it uses and its price. Ask to see the changeover between effects on your own artwork. A photograph of a finished sample shows the effect but leaves open which build produced it.
Several fixtures in the accessory spread are marked optional, and a large hoop is shown for single-head machines. Write down the flat, cap, garment, magnetic, shoe or sock frames you need with the quantity per head, and have them named on the packing list. [1] [2]
Controller, design files and stop recovery
The web page says two operating systems are standard and names one of them, Daho. Get the controller brand and model written into the quote, together with the software, screen languages and accessories that ship with it.
Bring a digitised file you already use. Have it loaded, previewed, given its colour order, placed on the frame and then backed up. Ask which file formats the controller accepts and how much design memory it holds.
The catalogue lists thread-break and power-failure recovery. Ask to see both on your fabric, using the restart procedure Futong recommends, and look closely at the stitches where sewing resumed. [1] [2]
Trial the CT machine on your own job
A trial with your own material shows how a CT build handles the orders you actually take. Set the pass and fail limits for the sample with Futong first, then work through these steps. [1] [2]
Assemble the job kit
Pack the cap, garment or flat piece you sell, the digitised file, thread, stabiliser and a note of the logo position.
Write down the build
List the model, number of heads and needles, controller, frames and every optional device fitted for the run.
Sew the full order
Cover hooping, loading, colour changes, sewing over seams and any decorative effect your order calls for.
Compare heads side by side
Check registration, lettering, stitch formation, tension, puckering and finish on the piece from each active head.
Break a thread deliberately
Let Futong restart by its own instructions, then inspect the join on the sample.
Count good pieces per hour
Time the run from loading to finishing, stops and unloading included, and keep the samples and settings.
What to settle in the quote
Ask for the electrical requirements, installed dimensions, gross and shipping weight, fixture packing list and service clearance for the build you choose. The series page is too general to plan an installation from.
Write commissioning, operator training, spare parts and the name of the warranty and support company in your country into the contract. The website lists agent countries, so ask who will actually look after your machine.
Price, delivery time and the confirmed cap figures belong in a dated offer. The CT web page dates from a 7 October capture and the catalogue from an 11 October viewing, so ask for current terms when you place the order. If you are also pricing other embroidery machines, send each maker the same list of questions. [1] [2] [3]

Sources & limitations
Ask Futong to put these in writing before you order: the exact CT model and its embroidery area, the head count, needle count and head spacing, installed and shipping dimensions, the cap field and cap speed for your setup, the controller model and file formats, which frames and decorative devices are included, the electrical supply, and who provides commissioning, spare parts and warranty service in your country. The single-head table covers only the three models it names.
