Equipment model · JH1810-140100-DAT

The JH1810-140100-DAT is a template sewing machine whose sewing head turns through 360° to follow a seam while belt-driven X/Y axes move the template. JEEHE lists a standard sewing area of 1,400 × 1,000 mm, a top speed of 3,500 rpm, 12.7 mm maximum stitch length and room for 999 stored files. It runs SLW programs, with DXF, AI and PLT drawings converted in the programming software. JEEHE describes it as a thin-material configuration. Your fixture, layers and seam path decide how it will actually run.

Sewing area, head rotation and presser-foot travel

  • Head rotation plus fixture size decides usable space, so get the clearance checked on your drawing.

The standard build sews over X 1,400 × Y 1,000 mm. JEEHE's English copy mentions a maximum of 2,000 × 1,000 mm, and the Chinese copy says custom working ranges can be made. A larger machine should arrive with its own drawing and price, so ask for both if your parts need the extra length.

The machine has to clear more than the seam. Send the fixture concept and the material stack with the seam path marked, including corners and curves, and ask JEEHE to check that the head can rotate and the axes can travel the full path with clamps in place and room for the operator to load and unload.

JEEHE calls this JH18 machine a rotating-head configuration for thin material. For thick stacks, its catalogue has other models, each with its own data, and the sewing and embroidery section of this site lists further machines. The table gives three separate presser-foot numbers: outer stroke, inner stroke and inner lift height. Together they describe foot movement, so prove your stack height by sewing it with the needle, thread and fixture you will use. [1]

JEEHE publishes the figures below for this model. Ask for the revision that matches your offer, along with the utility list and installation drawing, before you plan the floor. Before wiring the site, check the site notes on installed power and electrical supply for questions to raise. [1]

Program files, identification and options

The table names SLW as the machine format. DXF, AI and PLT drawings go through the programming software first. Send one of your own drawings, have it converted on the software that ships with the machine, check units, scale and origin, and sew the result before you sign.

DST is struck out in the Chinese table, and neither language version lists it as supported. If your library is in DST, ask for a live demonstration and the current list of accepted formats. Settle the software version, the computer operating system it needs, licences, backups and training at the same time.

RFID identification is on the equipment list, and the page says the machine supports IoT. Ask JEEHE to show a fixture calling up its matching program, and to spell out what a data link to your systems would require, including any account or dashboard.

Three choices come in pairs: synchronous belt or screw drive, motor-driven or mechanical inner presser, and round or flat trimming. Laser cutting, a vibrating knife and suction are extra devices, each with its own fitting, extraction or controls and training to define in the offer. To weigh one build against another, compare machine configurations line by line. [1]

Accept the machine on your own seam

Set the tolerances and test methods for your part before the run. A machine trial with your own material is the fairest test of the head, the fixture and the program together, and it gives you a reference for the factory acceptance test. [1]

  1. Lock the job

Note the layers, thread, needle, seam drawing, fixture and program version. Pick a sample with the hardest corners, curves and transitions.

  2. Check path and clamping

Watch scale, origin, clearance and fixture-to-program matching under the supplier's operating procedure, and agree who loads and unloads.

  3. Inspect the seams

Look at seam position, stitch appearance, layer shift, puckering and trimming against your product standard. Label the samples and keep a set each.

  4. Time whole cycles

Run for a fixed period and count handling, sewing, bobbin and thread work, stops and rejects. Output is the number of good parts, worked out from the run itself.

  5. Repeat on site

Rerun the same files, settings and samples at commissioning, and agree who fixes deviations, who trains operators and how each option is handed over.

Lubrication, spares and the seller

JEEHE describes micro-oil lubrication for the head and needle bar and an adjustable oil feed to the hook, and its promotion says these do not leak. Ask for the lubricant, settings and maintenance routine it specifies, and check clean running on your own light-coloured fabric during the trial.

Ask for the hook and parts list of the unit offered, a spare parts kit, the lubrication and cleaning schedule and the access needed to service the rotating head, drive, presser and trimmer. Manuals, fixture and program training and support for each option should be named in the offer.

JEEHE's website gives the company name and address in more than one form. The quotation should name the legal seller, the dispatch and service location, who covers the warranty and who runs commissioning. Price and delivery come with the quotation. [1] [2]

Sources & limitations

Get JEEHE to state each of these on paper ahead of the order: the sewing area of the build you buy, with a drawing if it is custom; the drive, inner presser and trimmer fitted; the file formats and software version supplied; each add-on device with its power, air and extraction needs; and the legal seller, dispatch address and warranty holder. Agree the trial result you expect on your own part before you pay.
