JL628A · Two-for-one twisting

Equipment model · JL628A
The JL628A is a two-for-one twister for short-staple yarn, sold by Xinchang Jingli Machinery under the Jingli Machinery brand. The product page shows a multi-position machine with feed and take-up areas and labels it clearly, but the text beneath runs on into chemical-filament machines and general equipment classes rather than JL628A data. Quotes are therefore built on your yarn. Send samples, the count and its unit, the number of ends, the twist you want and the sizes of the feed and output packages, and ask Jingli for a dated JL628A sheet before you compare offers.

What the JL628A listing shows
Jingli's page names the model, calls it a twister for short-staple yarn and shows an original photograph. A two-for-one spindle inserts two turns of twist for each rotation, which is why this design is common for plied spun yarn.
The long description then switches subject. It opens with chemical-filament equipment and talks about manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic machines as classes. It also quotes filament ranges, twist ranges, energy savings, break rates and named controls, none of them tied to a JL628A table or test report. Those figures are left out here. Ask for a corrected sheet for this model, with its revision and the options actually fitted, before you compare prices.
The photograph shows a long frame with many positions, a feed zone and a take-up zone. It gives no spindle count, speed, package capacity or doffing method, and the parts in the picture may differ from what is quoted today, so list every item you expect on the order. [1]
Yarn and package details to send with the enquiry
Jingli publishes no JL628A limits, so the enquiry carries the numbers, starting with the yarn count and the target twist. Send representative samples with the details below, and keep units and package conditions the same in every request so competing offers line up. [1] [2]

| Item | What you send | What Jingli should state in return |
|---|---|---|
| Yarn | Fibre or blend, spun construction, and yarn count with its unit | Written suitability for that yarn, stated in your count system. |
| Feed | Number of ends, any existing twist, whether the ends are already doubled, and feed package size and weight | The feed arrangement and package limits the JL628A accepts, and any preparation step it needs. |
| Twist | Target twist, its unit, direction and tolerance | The operating window for your yarn, how twist is set and how it is checked. |
| Output | Package shape, tube size, winding needs and the next process | The package range delivered, how much yarn each holds and how well it unwinds. |
| Output target | Good yarn per period, product mix and how often you change lots | The spindle count, running conditions and staffing behind the quoted output. |
| Site | Power available, floor space and access limits | A full load and utilities list, a layout drawing and maintenance clearances. |
How the JL628A fits with doubling and winding
Jingli sells doubling and winding as separate machines, and the JL328A is its high-speed doubler. If your ends are not yet combined on one package, a two-for-one twister normally needs a doubling stage first. Check with Jingli whether the JL628A quote assumes doubled feed.
Ask for a sketch of the full yarn path, from the packages you produce today to the twisted packages you need. It should mark each extra combining, winding or package step and the package size passed between machines. If you keep existing frames, send their output package details so Jingli can match the creel.
The JL328A page also carries an example from another machine, with efficiency and quality percentages. Leave those out of any line calculation that includes the JL628A. Ask for output figures for each stage on your yarn, and find out which stage sets the pace for the whole line. [2] [3]
Accept the JL628A on a test run
Use these steps to judge the machine on the yarn you will actually twist. Write them into the purchase agreement so the same test can be repeated at your site. [1]
Lock the inputs
Name the yarn lot, count and blend, feed construction and package condition. Agree the machine set-up and note every setting before the first spindle turns.
Agree the quality checks
Decide how twist and direction are measured, which yarn properties count, and how many positions and packages are sampled. Set pass limits and keep reference yarn.
Inspect the packages
Measure the packages against the agreed size, build and handling needs. Run them through your own next process and watch how they unwind.
Count good output
Log running time, good yarn, rejects, breaks, stops and every doffing or handling task. Note how many positions ran and how power was measured.
Write it into the order
Keep the trial samples, results and settings. Attach the accepted set-up and a repeatable start-up routine to the contract, with the party responsible for fixing any shortfall.
Documents to attach to the JL628A order
The quotation should name the JL628A with its revision and configuration, spindle layout, feed and output package limits, agreed yarn and twist range, drive and controls, and any installed options. Where the offer differs from the current web text, ask Jingli to explain the difference in writing.
Ask for the installation layout, the electrical and other utility needs including installed power, the operating manual, the lubrication and maintenance plan and the wear-part list. Settle commissioning, operator training and spare-part support, and say which preparation machines are inside or outside the scope.
Price, delivery time, warranty term and any energy saving are not given on the page. Agree them directly, and make sure every performance figure names the yarn, settings, measuring period and acceptance basis. Jingli's older spindle patent is a company record and gives no figures for this model. [1] [2]

Sources & limitations
The model, label and photograph come from Jingli's JL628A page, and the range from its company introduction. No one at the site has operated a JL628A. Have Jingli put these points in writing before you sign: a full JL628A parameter sheet for the configuration quoted, the yarn, twist and package limits for your yarn, the test-run results you will accept, the utilities and layout, and its commercial terms covering price, lead time, warranty cover and spares.
