GY617-622 · Embroidery

Generic sewing & embroidery machinery illustration · not the listed equipment

Equipment model · GY617-622

The GY617-622 from Yuebo stitches flat embroidery and sequins in the same design. Each head carries sequin devices on its left and right that feed and cut the tape automatically and switch between sequins. Sequin diameter is set mechanically anywhere from 3 to 7 mm, and the feeding figure given for the device is 700–800 rpm. An automatic pneumatic lift helps with fabric changes and servicing. The machine suits garments and panels that carry sequins over standard embroidery. To get a price, send the sequin tape, the fabric and the design file.

Head count and field: two catalogue versions

Head and field figures for this machine are printed in two places, and they disagree. The table shows where each figure appears and what to ask for. Your order needs its own model code, a date, the nameplate details and a head and frame drawing. How heads, needles and spacing decide the usable area is set out in the guide to multihead embroidery specifications. [1] [2] [3]

Sequin tape and size setting

Sequin diameter on the GY617-622 is changed mechanically within 3–7 mm. Ask whether any size change happens automatically, and which shapes, hole positions, pitches, thicknesses and tape types the device accepts across that range.

Send a reel of the tape you will run together with a finished piece. Note its shape, diameter, hole and feed pitch, material, thickness, thread, needle, fabric and backing. Yuebo should name the guide, cutter and setting that each of your tapes needs.

The general table shows 3, 5 and 7 mm sequins and offers special shapes and sizes on request. Approve a custom sequin as its own item with its own run, because a good photo of stitched sequins says little about how the tape feeds. [1] [3]

Left and right devices in a mixed design

Yuebo places a sequin device on each side of the head so the machine can change sequins partway through a design. Ask how many tapes each device holds on the quoted unit, which controller commands pick a side and how a change is programmed into the file. Then watch that sequence on the machine you will receive.

Use a design that goes from flat stitching into sequins and back out again. Watch where the first sequin lands, how firmly the stitches hold it, the cut, any stray feed and the way a sequin run finishes.

The pneumatic lift is meant for fabric changes and maintenance access. Get the air pressure, air quality and consumption for this model with the operating instructions, and keep guards in place while servicing whatever the lift allows. [1]

Feeding speed, output and thread trimming

The 700–800 rpm figure belongs to the sequin device in Yuebo's feature list. It is a feeding speed with no test conditions attached, so measure working speed in a trial with your own material.

Automatic cutting on the detail page refers to the sequin tape. Thread trimming is a separate option in the general table, named when ordering. Ask whether it is in the quoted price and how it behaves where flat stitching hands over to sequins.

Work out capacity from your real stitch program and the number of heads running together, adding loading, tape changes, stops and rework. Settle the head and field figures first, because the pieces per cycle depend on them. [1] [3]

Acceptance run for flat and sequin work

Agree numeric pass limits for your article with the seller, then follow these steps. They fit an acceptance test at the factory as well as a run after delivery. [1]

  1. Lock the configuration

Fix the model, heads in use, field, sequin devices, tape, fabric, backing, thread and design revision.

  2. Log the setup

Note the tape path, guide and cutter, chosen diameter, air supply and controller settings.

  3. Stitch the pattern

Cover starts, turns, dense areas and flat-to-sequin changes on the production fabric.

  4. Inspect by head

Log missing, double or misplaced sequins, cut quality, stitch hold and fabric damage on every head that runs.

  5. Reel change and restart

Change a reel and recover from a stop by the manual, then check the tape join and the first sequins after it.

  6. Accept on good pieces

Time good pieces including loading, changes and rejects, keep samples and settings, and agree spares and training.

What the quote should contain

The listing carries an old copyright date, so ask for a dated quote and whether the offer uses the GY617-622 name, a newer model or another head and frame layout.

The detail page gives no electrical or air schedule, controller version, installation drawing, weight or service terms. Have these sent with the list of standard and optional devices and the stitch-file workflow. For the electrical side, the notes on installed power and electrical supply set out which figures matter.

Price, a current conformity certificate, customer test results and a missing-sequin rate are not published. Attach the agreed configuration and the approved sample to the order, so any later swap of parts or model has to be agreed with you. If you weigh this machine against other sequin models, line up the configurations item by item.

Cutters, guides and other wear parts for the sequin devices belong in the warranty terms, with stock you can order quickly. [1] [2] [3]

Sources & limitations

Get these confirmed by Yuebo in writing before ordering: the nameplate model of the quoted machine, its head count, needles, spacing and field, the alternate-head field, the sequin shapes and tapes it feeds, how diameter is adjusted, whether thread trimming comes with it, working speed on your design, and the air and electrical supply it needs.
