Tianzhu groups its carpet-yarn machines on one catalogue page. Doubling, twisting, direct cabling, winding and heat setting each have a model of their own, and Tianzhu prices each one separately. If you want two or more of them to work as a line, say so in the enquiry and ask Tianzhu to name the order of the stages, the package hand-over between them and who answers for each one.

Beyond carpet yarn, the company introduction lists two-for-one twisters for staple yarn, chemical fibre and silk, separate doubling machines, and components such as spindles and tubes. Mills that need only replacement spindles or tubes can buy them as parts and accessories, provided the existing machine and part are identified. [1] [2]

The TZ618 is the direct cabling model in the range. Its standard version carries 120 spindles at a pitch of 450–500 mm. The catalogue gives a twist range of 60–600 turns per metre, spindles turning at 4,000–12,000 r/min, and a wound package measuring L254 × diameter 350 mm.

Tianzhu describes control at each spindle, electronic length measurement and an operator screen for entering settings and showing process parameters. The two sides of the frame are described as fully independent, so each side can work a different raw material at the same time. If you plan to rely on that, describe both jobs when you write to the maker.

Cross-angle control for winding comes either as an electronic system or as a mechanical gearbox. Pick one and have it named in the quotation, together with a list of the settings that change per spindle, per side or across the whole frame. [3]

The TZ218 heat-sets yarn in saturated steam and uses multi-point detection with digital control. Tianzhu names wool, nylon, polypropylene, acrylic, polyester and BCF among the materials it is meant for. A TZ618 quotation covers cabling alone unless heat setting is written into it, and each material will need its own recipe.

The TZ218 table gives 36 feed ends and 36 automatic winding positions, with one maximum figure for feeding and a different one for winding. When cabling and heat setting are planned together, agree the material, the recipe, any buffer or package transfer between the machines, the steam and other utilities, and a separate acceptance test for each stage.

The model page also promises lower energy use and better yarn properties. Put the result you need into figures and check it in a trial with your own yarn before it enters any running-cost or carpet-quality sums. [4]

Tianzhu dates its founding to May 1991 and gives its address in the Zhangzhen area of Shangyu. It presents itself as a maker of machines and components for chemical-fibre, cotton-spinning and silk mills.

The exhibitor directory for ITMA ASIA + CITME 2024, published by the show organisers, lists Zhejiang Tianzhu Textile Machinery with the same Chinese name, Zhangzhen address and company website, at booth H5.1-B21. That gives a dated outside record of who the company is and where it sits.

Production capacity today, any work passed to subcontractors, warranty, delivery time and service cover all belong in the written offer for your machine. A cabling enquiry opens with the yarns going in and the cable you want out; spindle speed comes later. Where the two sides will run different yarns, write down both jobs and say how output and stoppages on each side will be logged.

1. Describe the yarn

   Give the material, fineness with a clear unit, construction, twist and its direction, and the feed packages. Add the finished package and the process that follows.

2. Fix what is being quoted

   Name the model, spindle count, winding-control option and included devices. List any heat setting, winding, package transfer and spare components as separate items.

3. Agree the demonstration

   Write down the configuration, settings, run time, stoppages and accepted output. Agree how twist, package quality and any later yarn properties will be measured.

4. Close delivery and support

   Request the layout, loading and service access, a full utility schedule, manuals, training, commissioning, spare parts and the acceptance papers for the arrangement on offer.

The Tianzhu TZ618 is a direct cabler built with two independent sides, each able to take a different material.
