Zhejiang Wanshifa Textile Machinery Co., Ltd.

Zhejiang Wanshifa Textile Machinery designs and builds yarn winders in Xinchang and sells them under the WSF name. Three models carry full product pages. The WSF200A is a programmable precision winder for yarns from 10 to 7,000 dtex, the WSF200V is set up for viscose filament with an oiling unit, and the WSF500Y cross-winds thread onto cones or king spools with automatic tube loading. Both the WSF200A and the WSF500Y are listed at up to 1,000 m/min. Choose by the package you need at the end, then send Wanshifa your yarn, your tubes and a note on the machine that will unwind the package.

Three WSF winders and the job each one does

Wanshifa's product pages split its winders by task. Speed will not help you choose, since the WSF200A and the WSF500Y share the same top line speed of 1,000 m/min, which Wanshifa ties to process settings. Package size, traverse and position layout are what set them apart, and the table puts those side by side.

The company description also mentions draw-setting machines for high-twist yarn and drum winders. If you need either of these, name the operation and the package you expect, and ask which model Wanshifa would quote for it. [1] [2] [3] [4]

WSF200A: a precision winder for a wide yarn range

  • 10 to 7,000 dtex, filament to industrial yarn
  • Six positions per section, 360 mm pitch
  • About 300 W per position

The WSF200A winds in digital or precision mode, and the package shape is set in the program. It accepts straight or conical tubes. Wanshifa names textured and straight filament, staple yarn, elastic yarn, silk and industrial yarn as examples within its 10 to 7,000 dtex range. A range that wide calls for its own tension setting and package program for each yarn, so ask for the settings proposed for yours.

Positions sit on one side of the machine, six to a section, at a 360 mm pitch, and every position has its own drive. The installed power is given as about 300 W per position. The floor plan depends on how many positions you order and how the feed packages are placed, so ask for a layout drawing of your build.

Digital tension feedback matters most when the supply package pays off unevenly. Tell Wanshifa which yarn gives trouble and at what point in the package the fault starts. A full spec table and a trial plan are on the WSF200A page. [2]

WSF200V for viscose filament

  • Viscose filament with digital or oil-wheel oiling

Wanshifa presents the WSF200V for viscose filament. Oil goes on either digitally or by an oil wheel, and the tension system can push winding tension up or down. The product page gives no full operating range and no figure for how much oil is applied.

For a quote, send the filament specification, the oil pick-up you need and how the package will be unwound later. Ask for the oiling method Wanshifa proposes. The WSF200A figures belong to that model alone, so ask for the WSF200V's own limits in writing. [3]

WSF500Y for thread cones and king spools

  • Input up to 320 mm, output up to 160 mm
  • 5 to 25 positions, 6 bar air

The WSF500Y does precision cross-winding onto cones or king spools. The supply package can be up to 320 mm in diameter and the finished package up to 160 mm, so the two figures describe the input and output ends. Traverse runs from 63.5 to 152.4 mm. Conical tubes from 1°30′ to 6° are accepted, with a bottom hole of at least 18 mm.

Sections hold five positions, and a machine can have 5 to 25 of them at a 440 mm pitch with independent dual drives. Wanshifa lists about 1.5 kW for every five positions and compressed air at 6 bar. The automatic cycle covers tube pre-positioning, tail-thread insertion and yarn clamping.

Automatic tube handling only runs smoothly when the tubes fit it. Send real tubes and thread, and ask to see the loading cycle run with them. [4]

The company and its public record

Wanshifa's introduction places the factory in the Nanyan industrial area of Xinchang and describes the business as developing and building winding equipment, with chemical-fibre filament winding as a long-running focus. The website shows little of the workshop or test floor, so ask for a factory video or visit if production capacity and inspection matter to you.

Zhejiang Intellectual Property Online, run by the provincial market-regulation and IP authority, lists Zhejiang Wanshifa Textile Machinery Co., Ltd. in an Xinchang IP project subsidy notice dated 20 August 2021. It is a dated government record of support. For the machines themselves, ask which patents are current and what they cover; the guide to Chinese patent records explains the filing types.

The homepage gives two different customer totals and a 100% favourable rating. Ask for customer references in your own region and any certificates your order needs. For a list of papers to request from any supplier, see how to read a manufacturer profile. [1] [5]

Build the enquiry around a sample package

The package on the screen matters less than the way it behaves on your next machine. Plan a trial with your own yarn so the result can be checked at home before you sign. [2] [3] [4]

  1. Ship the inputs

Send the yarn as it arrives at your mill, the output tube and a package you already accept. State the material and count with its unit.

  2. Name the model question

WSF200A buyers should settle the unwinding device and tension set-up. WSF200V buyers need the oiling method. WSF500Y buyers should send their tubes and ask about the loading cycle.

  3. Agree the measures

Decide in advance how package weight, build, density and unwinding will be judged.

  4. Log the run

Ask for the yarn, settings and winding speed used to be written down beside each package.

  5. Test downstream

Run the packages on your own line, then use the agreed results as the reference for acceptance of the delivered machine.

Sources & review

Model figures come from Wanshifa's own product pages; the company record comes from a 2021 provincial IP notice. Before ordering, ask Wanshifa to confirm in writing: the model and build offered, whether active unwinding is included on a WSF200A, the oiling range on a WSF200V, how fast your own yarn winds and what its packages look like, the full layout and utilities, current price and delivery, and who provides warranty and spare parts.
