The NH is an electronic jacquard head from Jiabao, built in four sizes named after their hook counts: NH5376, NH7168, NH8960 and NH10752. The maker rates every size at up to 650 r/min. The shed opens 50–90 mm at the front and 90–130 mm at the rear, and power comes through a reversing unit and vertical shaft. Pattern data travels over optical fibre, with a touchscreen and USB file exchange at the controller. To price it, send the loom model, weaving width, repeat and controlled ends, and say whether harness, support and controller belong in the order.

Choosing among the four hook counts
Hooks sit in 32 columns along the head, and the count steps up from 5,376 through 7,168 and 8,960 to 10,752. The right size follows from your pattern, the warp ends to be controlled and the way the harness is tied. The table gives no fabric width or repeat per size, so the choice is worked out for each cloth.
Give Jiabao the loom model, weaving width, repeat and the pattern functions you need. Ask for a hook allocation and harness plan showing how your fabric will be produced, including any reserved hooks or extras your project calls for. Picking a head by setting hook count against fabric width alone tends to lead to the wrong size.
Jiabao's NK family is a different head, offering 2,880 or 5,376 hooks laid out in 24 columns. It shares the 650 r/min rating, yet its head, controls and drawings belong to a separate family. If a quote blends NH and NK figures, ask for it to be split so each configuration stands on its own sheet. [1] [4]

The conjugate-cam design
Jiabao builds the NH shedding motion on conjugate cams. The parts are integrally forged and finished by CNC, and the rocker arm is split in two. A drawing on the model page shows the arrangement.
The maker ties this design to longer life, higher load capacity, steadier running and smaller heald travel. No test method or figures accompany those statements. If service life or speed matters to your business case, put the target and the running conditions into the contract.
Ask for the lubrication schedule, inspection intervals and a list of wear parts for the head you buy. Even a long-lived mechanism needs those papers on the shop floor. [1] [2]

Jiabao pairs an A–E sketch with the rows below. No unit is printed beside the figures, so treat them as drawing references. Your installer needs a current drawing with units and loads to size the overhead frame and supports. [3]

Commission head, harness and loom as one job
A suggested commissioning plan for an NH installation follows. Jiabao has not published a run on any customer's loom, so every result here comes from your own job. [1] [3]
Freeze the scope
Name the NH model, loom, harness, support, drive and controller. Decide who supplies and who installs each item.
Sign off the drawings
Collect drawings with units, loads, drive and interface details and access needs. Your installer or structural designer approves the support and connections.
Prove the pattern route
Agree how pattern files are prepared, sent and allocated on the supplied controller. Weave a representative pattern in a trial and check the cloth before any production run.
Run at agreed settings
Log yarn, pattern, harness, opening settings and speed. Inspect the fabric against the agreed quality points and count stops and operator interventions.
Recover and hand over
Have Jiabao's engineer show stops, restarts and pattern changes by the manual. File settings, samples, manuals and training records for final sign-off.
What the NH quotation should spell out
Ask whether the price covers the head alone or also the harness, support, drive, controller, installation and start-up. On a replacement job, list every part that stays on the loom and get Jiabao's written word that the new head fits with them.
USB file exchange only says how files reach the controller. Ask which pattern formats and design software it accepts, and request the operating manuals, maintenance and spares list and training plan for the system you receive.
Price, delivery, warranty, power and load needs and fabric output are absent from the NH page. Get them in the offer for your exact configuration and in the acceptance record. Jiabao's older company papers describe the firm, and they say nothing about how this head performs in weaving. [1] [3]
