Shaoxing Shangyu Hesheng Textile Equipment makes bobbins, tubes and small wear components for yarn processing. It does not sell complete machines. The catalogue splits aluminium bobbins for covering machines from those for two-for-one twisters, and lists plastic, phenolic and dyeing tubes, spindles and ceramic parts on their own. Hesheng says it has developed textile bobbins since 1995 and puts its annual output at three million aluminium-alloy tubes. Most enquiries are for replacement parts. Hesheng sorts its catalogue by the machine a part serves and by material. Two aluminium families sit side by side: bobbins for yarn covering machines and bobbins for two-for-one twisters. Tubes in plastic, phenolic resin and for dyeing form a third group, with spindles and ceramic parts after that.
The covering-bobbin category is mixed. Next to the aluminium items it carries an entry called plastic bobbin and several custom or special-size listings. Start from the machine that already runs. Give Hesheng its make and model, the spindle or holder reference, the code of the bobbin you use now and photographs of the surfaces that locate it. An unworn bobbin from the same machine is the best pattern to post.
A useful drawing shows the bore and the seat or drive features, the barrel diameter and winding length, flange diameter and thickness, overall length and the clearance around the part when it turns. Mark the datum faces and give tolerances to them. One outside diameter is never enough to make a bobbin fit.
Old bobbins wear and bend. Before a used part becomes the pattern, mark on the drawing which sizes come from the original design, which were measured from the sample, and which still need agreement with the machine builder. Chinese application CN110438543A was filed on 28 June 2019 and published on 12 November 2019. It names 绍兴市上虞和盛纺器有限公司 at the same Chunchao Road address the company website shows today, and it covers a hard-anodising treatment for aluminium textile bobbins.
The filing describes surface damage that comes from stripping waste yarn off bobbins and proposes a hardened oxide layer against it. The claimed layer is 57–63 micrometres thick. That range belongs to the application; the bobbin you are quoted may use a different finish.
If surface hardness matters on your machines, ask for the alloy, the finish and its thickness or hardness, how it is measured and a report tied to your batch. In an article dated June 2026, Hesheng describes aluminium bobbins as light and writes about anodised surfaces, energy use and corrosion resistance. The article names no comparison material and gives no measured energy figure or chemical test for the covering bobbin.
Turn those points into numbers for your own order. Ask for the actual mass of the part and the conditions it is rated for. If bobbins go through washing, dye liquor or steam, state the chemical, concentration, temperature, time and cleaning method. Hesheng sells separate dyeing tubes, so ask which family is meant for wet processing.
Agree how bobbins will be inspected and when one is rejected: burrs, damaged flanges, a loose fit or a change in seating. Follow Hesheng's own method for stripping waste yarn and cleaning. A bobbin that looks clean and keeps its colour can still have a worn coating, so build a check into your spare parts routine. [1] [3] [4]

Agree one drawing revision with material, finish, tolerances, package conditions and the inspection plan.
Check bore, seats, flanges and barrel against the drawing and look over edges, joints and the surface.
Seat the bobbin on the target spindle or holder, then confirm it locks, releases and clears its neighbours.
Wind the agreed yarn and package and watch runout, vibration and yarn quality against limits set in advance.
Look at the bobbin after winding, doffing and cleaning and write down any damage or snagging.
Keep a master sample, the inspection record and the drawing, and require approval for any change in later batches.
Hesheng's website traces the business back to 1995 and gives an annual output of three million aluminium-alloy tubes. The output figure carries no date or audit, so ask what capacity is free for your order and when.
The company name and Chunchao Road address on the 2019 filing match the website, which helps confirm who you are dealing with. Company history and output figures come from Hesheng's own website, the anodising details from its 2019 application, and the product data from its catalogue, which carries no full drawing or speed rating. Before ordering, ask Hesheng to confirm in writing: the drawing revision and tolerances, the alloy and surface finish with its measured thickness, the speed and package load the bobbin is rated for, the cleaning method it allows, and the legal entity that makes and ships the parts.
