Shaoxing Huayu Textile Machinery makes two-for-one twisters and draw-texturing machines. The twisting side covers chemical-fibre filament, mainly through the unflanged HY310C family, and staple yarn through models such as the HY358. On the texturing side Huayu lists HYD machines for polyester, HYJ machines for nylon and versions that combine texturing with covering. Huayu also helped draft the group standard T/ZZB 1799-2020 for filament two-for-one twisters. A useful enquiry starts with your yarn and the process that follows it, because a filament job, a staple-yarn job and a texturing project each lead to a different machine.
Huayu sorts its catalogue by process. Filament twisting, staple-yarn twisting and draw texturing sit in separate groups, and each group has its own models. Pick the group from the yarn you feed in and the yarn you need out, then compare models inside it.
Within filament twisting Huayu offers flanged two-for-one twisters as well as the unflanged HY310C, so state the denier and the tube type you use from the start. The table shows what each line is for and what Huayu will need from you to propose a configuration. [1][2][4][5]

HY310C: one family, three frames
Unflanged tubes in place of flanged bobbins
Soft packages with a yarn tail
Three versions with different package and spindle sizes
The idea behind the HY310C is to wind onto unflanged tubes in place of flanged bobbins. Huayu says this leaves a yarn tail and gives soft packages. It names low-twist warp and weft for water-jet and air-jet weaving, and packages for circular knitting, as the main uses.
Huayu publishes three versions side by side. SF is the standard-height frame with a 90 mm spindle, 750–1,200 g winding capacity and 2,000–13,000 r/min. H-SF keeps the 90 mm spindle and the speed range on a higher frame and raises capacity to 750–1,500 g. L-SF moves to a 100 mm spindle on a higher frame, winds 750–1,800 g and tops out at 12,000 r/min.
The largest package and the highest speed therefore belong to different versions. Ask Huayu for one dated sheet that covers only the version it is quoting, together with the operating point it proposes for your yarn. The motor ratings in the table describe the drives; output and energy use come from a trial.
The SF version has its own page on this site as the HY310C-SF, with its full published table and a trial plan. [2][3]

Huayu's part in the filament twister standard
The National Digital Library of Standards names Shaoxing Huayu Textile Machinery as one of the drafting organisations of T/ZZB 1799-2020, Filament yarn two-for-one twister. The record gives publication on 6 November 2020, implementation on 30 November 2020 and a current status. It covers double-sided, double-layer machines that twist chemical-fibre filament.
That tells a buyer Huayu took part in writing the rules for this machine type. It applies to filament twisters, so texturing machines fall outside it. If your contract calls for conformity, name the edition you expect and ask for a declaration and test records for the machine you are buying. [6]

Test the package where it will be used
Trial planning for twisting machines
A fast spindle on a demonstration frame tells you little about how the package unwinds on your loom or knitting machine. Plan the trial around your real yarn and the package you want, and run competing offers on the same terms.
Describe the job
Give the material, yarn specification, twist and direction, the feed package and the shape or softness of the finished package. Say which machine uses it next and what goes wrong there today.
Fix the machine setup
Write down the model suffix, spindle count, devices fitted, yarn path and settings. Huayu should set the safe operating limits for your yarn.
Decide how results are measured
Agree methods and pass marks for twist, package consistency and downstream behaviour. Count breaks, waste, operator interventions and good output over a set period.
Compare whole offers
Set good output and measured power side by side under the same conditions. Add layout, package handling, installation, training and documents before choosing.

From company range to a quoted order
Huayu dates the company to 2004 and presents twisting and texturing as its two development tracks. Its introduction also cites patents, sales volumes, awards and exports. A buyer gets more from naming the exact machine and asking Huayu to put the delivery terms for it in writing.
For a chosen model, request the supplying company, a current layout, foundation and installation needs, electrical and compressed-air data where relevant, and packing and shipping details. Check which manuals, operator training, commissioning, first spare parts and remote or on-site support come with it, and have the warranty and response times written into the quotation.
Texturing lines that combine texturing and covering involve several stages. Ask Huayu who is responsible for each stage and each hand-over between them, and whether the configuration you want is already running somewhere or would be built to order. [1][4]

Generic spinning machinery illustration · not the listed equipment
The HY310C-SF is the standard-height version of Huayu's unflanged two-for-one filament twister. It takes 30–1,000 denier chemical-fibre yarn, gives 80–4,000 turns per metre in S or Z, winds 750–1,200 g packages and runs spindles at 2,000–13,000 r/min. Frames are built in steps of 32 spindles up to 256. To get a price, send the yarn and denier, the twist, the tube you use, the spindle count and whether you want the yarn-break alarm and drop wires.

Sources & review
Before ordering, ask Huayu to confirm in writing: the exact model and version, its configuration sheet, the operating point for your yarn and package, which optional devices are included, how the trial will be measured and accepted, the installed electrical load and utilities, and the warranty, spares and service terms. If you need conformity with T/ZZB 1799-2020, ask for a declaration and test records for the delivered machine.
