Golden Eagle makes flax-spinning machinery in Dinghai, Zhoushan, Zhejiang. The machines are sold by Zhejiang Golden Eagle Co., Ltd., a listed company controlled by Zhejiang Golden Eagle Group Co., Ltd. Its FX range covers each stage of a flax mill: hackling and sliver forming, Mackie-type drawing, roving with one model for long flax and another for short flax, and wet spinning. The group runs flax and spun-silk production of its own, so the sales team can discuss the process as well as the hardware. To start a quote, tell Golden Eagle whether you work long or short flax, what yarn you want to sell, and which stages you need or already have.
Golden Eagle arranges its flax page by process stage, starting with raw fibre and ending at wet-spun yarn. The long-flax and short-flax roving frames sit on two separate branches. They are alternatives chosen by fibre, and a mill handling both kinds of flax would run them side by side.
Golden Eagle lists an FX101 hackling machine and an FX201 sliver maker, plus a combined FX103/FX203 unit that does both jobs. Say whether your flax arrives raw or already prepared, because that decides which of the three belongs in your line.
Mackie-type drawing: FX280 to FX284
The drawing series spans several frames. How many passages, frames and cans your yarn programme needs comes out of the process calculation, so ask for that calculation with the offer.
Roving: pick the branch for your fibre
FX401A is the long-flax roving frame and FX401B the short-flax one. FX402 is a further Mackie-type flax roving machine. Keep the A or B suffix on every line of the equipment schedule so the right frame is built.
Wet spinning: FX502 and FX506A
FX502 and the Mackie-type FX506A finish the route. Golden Eagle prints no count range, spindle speed or output for them, so ask for figures worked out on your own fibre.

Which Golden Eagle company sells the machines
Golden Eagle's group introduction dates the business back to 1966. It names the listed company under its control as the developer of textile machinery for bast fibres, spun silk and wool. The same website presents plastics machinery, die casting and other trades, which sit apart from the flax workshop and say little about its size.
The 2025 annual report of the listed company names Zhejiang Golden Eagle Group Co., Ltd. as its controlling shareholder. Page 47 gives 27 June 1998 as the day the group was legally set up, while 1966 marks where the business history begins. Pages 4–5 identify the issuer as Zhejiang Golden Eagle Co., Ltd., stock code 600232. Its financial figures belong to that issuer as a whole, textile production included.
Ask which legal entity will sign the quotation, build the frames and send engineers for service, and write that name into the contract. The general notes on how to read a manufacturer profile cover the same group-and-subsidiary question for other suppliers. [1][3]
03
Golden Eagle runs flax production of its own
According to the group introduction, Golden Eagle set up flax and spun-silk production on its own machines, then moved into weaving, finishing and garment making, with test and training facilities alongside.
On page 8 of the 2025 annual report, the listed company describes developing, making and selling textile machinery next to its textile production. It presents the machinery side as one business that handles R&D, design, purchasing, manufacturing and sales.
That mill experience gives you a good reason to ask for a run on your own fibre. Ask whether a sample can pass through the stages you plan to buy, who will interpret the results, and whether settings and the intermediate sliver and roving will be written down. A run on the maker's usual fibre tells you little if your preparation or your long and short flax mix is different, so insist on a trial with your own flax. [1][3]
04
What to put in a flax line enquiry
For a new mill, ask Golden Eagle for an equipment schedule by stage, the form of the material entering and leaving each machine, and the sums used to match capacities. A list of hackling, drawing, roving and spinning frames is where the offer starts. The balance between those frames is what turns it into a working line.
For a replacement section, describe what stays: the cans and packages in use, the material that arrives at the new machine, and what the following operation expects to receive.
Wet spinning brings supporting plant with it. Ask the maker to list the utilities it expects, the wet-process work it will take on and the effluent arrangements, and to state which items fall to your mill or to another contractor. Leave none of this to the machinery price by default. [2]
05
Agree a test run on the yarn you will sell
Describe the flax you hold and the yarn you mean to sell. Agree the preparation route, which samples stand for your incoming quality, and the points where yield and output will be measured. Keep intermediate samples from preparation, roving and spinning so a change in quality can be traced to one stage.
Tie the acceptance terms to the yarn properties you need and to steady output on the agreed fibre. Log the machine configuration, settings, stops and waste so the outcome can be set against the proposed line balance.
Price, delivery slot, guaranteed output, the content of any training package and the spare parts list belong in a dated proposal from the contracting company. Compare that proposal with the test run before you sign.

This Golden Eagle listing is a family of machines for a complete flax mill. It covers FX101 hackling, FX201 sliver forming, the combined FX103/FX203, McKay-type FX280–FX284 drawing, roving on FX401A for long fibre or FX401B for short fibre, an FX402 roving frame, and two wet-spinning models, FX502 and FX506A. Speeds and capacities are not published. Send your fibre, target count, the stages you need and samples, and ask for a stage-by-stage proposal.
Checklist and notes are not uploaded or saved after reload. Copy or download a draft to keep it. Opening the workspace does not send this draft.
Sources & review
Before ordering, ask Golden Eagle to confirm in writing: the legal entity that quotes, builds and services the line; the stage-by-stage equipment schedule and capacity balance; a current datasheet for each FX model offered; the utility and wet-process supply boundary; and the scope of any sample run and training. The photo on this page shows a flax workshop or process and is not tied to one FX model.
